Q: How do I reply to a post on the blog page?
A: In order to reply to posts, you must register an account and log in with it. If you have not registered, please do so. Follow the instructions after clicking on the login link at the bottom of the main page. A password will be mailed to you. Use it to log in. At the main page, click on the post's title, type in your reply in the Leave a Reply box, and click the Submit Comment button.
Q: How do I see my reply to a post?
A: You can click on the post's title to see all comments posted.
Q: I wish to search for a specific post on the blog page. How do I do this?
A: Use the Search box and type in a key word. Your search results will display all posts for that key word.
Q: I want to find a comment that I've written to a post, but I can't remember where or when I've posted it.
A: Contact Jon Bricker from the Contact Us page. He can conduct searches within comment text, e-mail, URI, and IP addresses and email the comment location back to you.
Q: How can I download pictures of the DRL Photo Collections area in the blog?
A: For Windows users, right-click the file and choose the the Save Picture As… option. Choose a location to save the file. For Macintosh users, hold down the click button and choose the Download to Disk option. Choose a location to save the file.
Q: Are the files on this site copyrighted?
A: No! All files on this site are free for distribution. Put the Podcast/MP3 files from the home page on a portable media player for the road. Download the DRL Photo Collections from the blog page and set them as wallpaper.
Q: What is the purpose of this site?
A: The general goal is to give Christians an environment to interact with each other and discuss topics related to Christianity in general. It will also help Christians explore and evaluate topics of Christian interests in the forum area. The site reaches out to ISU DRL members first, but is open for anyone to register and post replies to the forums.
Q: How are comments moderated on the blog page?
A: All comments are moderated by Jon Bricker. As the site grows, He will check for inappropriate material or language in replies to posts. If a user is causing a problem, the user's comment will be deleted and the account removed from the website. Please report any suspicious comments to Jon Bricker from the Contact Us link on the home page.
Q: I want to request a post topic. Who do I contact?
A: Email DRL staff Jon Bricker at jon.bricker@cbanormal.org. He will approve of your topic to be posted on the site.
Q: I want my account removed. What can I do?
A: Email Jon Bricker from the Contact Us link on the home page. He can delete your old account. Note that your replies will still remain posted on the site unless you request removal of them.
Q: I want a comment of mine edited/removed from a post. What can I do?
A: Email Jon Bricker from the Contact Us link on the home page. Request the comment you wish to edit/remove. If you choose the first option, please supply your replacement text.
